"When someone asks you if you're a god, you say yes." Fine. I melt and drip into the soft green glow of the forest, my old body limp and lifeless, crackling and sticking to the gemstone underbrush. I sink into the forbidden garnet city; oval alleys and deep red streets; monsters and magic. I have no more form-- only a question. Where are they? The tufted blue beast appears, eyes sparkling oceans against the ancient streetlights. "Well? Are you a god?" I steady my paws, bare my teeth, and snarl, "Yes, begin the ritual."
